Home
Home is where snacks are hidden.
At home the dog and cats steal mittens.
Once I walk inside, I smell my grandma making dinner.
To me, my grandma's cooking always tastes like a winner.
If my grandma makes meat,
Afterwards I'll have something slightly sweet.
On weekend's I lie in bed,
With some books I've already read.
I curl up under my blanket nice and warm.
But on my legs I feel a kitten-like form.
I go downstairs to watch some fun, fantasy flicks.
I enjoy watching their T.V. tricks.
For fun birthdays I invite my friends,
When parent's come I declare the party's end.
At home I make my dolls delicately dance.
If they fail, I give them another chance.
Home is where my family lives.
That is all I want to give.
To people who can't afford a home,
That's what I want to loan.
