What Does Home Mean to Me?
For a home to be a home it needs hard work and love to make a true home. I love my home. I have support and love there - that is something we all deserve. I feel safe in my home and if I'm sheltered in my home I feel safe. The rooms of my home bring me different feelings and emotions. My bedroom is in my home. It's like a soft, warm place to be. I feel safe. I can do projects there, I can study there and I can have fun there. My kitchen allows me to eat and cook and feel nourished. My living room is where I can just sit and relax. It's where my family gathers and we are happy. It’s where we laugh and where we are competitive. Having my own home reminds me everyday to be grateful for what we have because I know I always have a safe place to go.
