Home
Home
By: Juliet Porterfield
Home is my happy place,
I splash and bathe and wash my face.
Hope and love is everywhere,
And we all care.
We say things we mean, and sometimes not,
But we still love each other a lot.
I care for myself and my family,
And we walk and we talk happily.
I love my mom and I love my dad,
Even when I am mad or sad.
Home is where I get lots of love,
And home is where I never push or shove.
My family is really fun,
And we never ever are done.
And I laugh, I cry,
As every day goes by.
I sleep and wake,
And we make a cake.
We play games and invite friends,
Until the day ends.
Home is where I want to stay,
And everyone says I may.
So everyone should have a home,
Of their own.
