A home is a place where I can feel free A home is a place where I can just be me A home is a place where I can feel safe, loved, and cared for A mom, a dad, a sister, a dog, and grandparents are all there for me I am lucky to have a bed to sleep in, Others just have the ground A home is a place where I have water when I seek, and food that is easily found I think everyone needs a home No matter their race or their skin tone My home was built out of love care and laughter I love it with all my heart A home is not just a building It gives a place for people in need Like the people that are living on the street When I see those people I feel so sad Those people can't afford food It is hard to even drink clean water too A home is a place where a family begins A home is not a home until there are good memories within A home is not a home until there is love all around A home is not a home unless there is a loving sound My home is not perfect, but it is perfect for me It is also very perfect for my own family A home brings a great bond between the People Oh wait, not just the people People and pets A home can be big or small But what matters is there should be love and care for one and all
