What Home Means To Me

Home is a special place for me. It is a warm, comfortable, loving, and caring environment. My home is the place where everyone can share, speak and be themselves. I can be open and share my deepest thoughts even when I‘m feeling low. My family shelters me with warm hugs while my home is my shelter from the cold. My house is filled, with love, compassion, and kindness. Love fills the big, beautiful rooms each and every day, helping me through this pandemic. I would never forget any memories from my home because there is only one home that you live, learn, and love in. I can always rely on everyone there because every time I see my family, I can share. My mom, dad, brother, grandpa, and dog can all help me through the lows and be happy for me in the high moments. I feel safe, calm, and loved every time I step in. They will pick me up or bring me to a place where no fear can touch me. I have cherished every happy moment in my home. I have walked down the stairs that might not seem like much but every outfit or surprise has been experienced on those stairs! I will never get another home like this because only the people inside can keep my house flowing with love. I can feel like I can laugh, have fun and be sure to stay true to myself. Every time I come from school I finally feel comfort and relief. There are hugs, kisses, and cuddles everywhere. I wish every home was like mine because my home is like no other. It was built around love and laughter, compassion and comfort. There is no home that will be as special as mine.
