Homeless
Homeless
By: Amy Buhay
Everyday,
When I came home from school,
I used to take my home for granted.
But when my dad,
Took me downtown,
And I saw many people,
Sitting down,
On the ground,
With no roof over their heads,
And there were people,
Holding signs,
And begging for money.
I started to think,
About the people,
Who buy many houses,
And don’t understand,
The real meaning of home.
Home is a safe place,
To spend time with family,
Play games,
Enjoy nice food,
And spread happiness.
Those extra houses,
Could’ve been used
For a homeless person
I just want to see those people,
In nice warm homes.
Homeless people
Deserve to have a home as much as we do.
$30 000 can make a major difference
For my community
So please,
I just want those people have a home.
Homes make everyone happy,
Let’s make them feel that happiness.
