The Meaning of Home

Having a home isn’t something that everyone has, it’s a luxury. I love my home so much and have learned to not take it for granted. Please don’t think that a home will be something that you’ll always have, because you might not. We all can get caught up in our lives and think that we have it bad, but just remember that not everyone is as lucky as you. I have many things and am very grateful, but I'm most grateful for one thing. It’s for the home I live in, no not a house. In my opinion a house is a building that is just a building, but a home is a building that you have a connection to. I hope you live in a home and if you don’t i’m sorry. If it wasn’t for my family I wouldn’t be living in a home, I would be living in a house. My house is a home because of all the personal things in it. For example I have a personal connection with my horse ribbons because I love horseback riding, therefore my ribbons are something that make my house a home. I know that you love having a home, so trying to picture not having one is hard. But I hope this essay helped you be more a bit more grateful for having a home and helped you not take your home for granted. Next time you're spending some time with your family I challenge you to thank them for making the house you live in a home.
