The Meaning of Home

What is a home, this is the big question that is asked to us every year. A lot of people have the same answer but I am here to turn the tide. I will be talking about all the things that you should know about homes. What is a home, well I think a home is the people that matter. It means something to say “honey im home!!!” because you're coming back to someone you love. When I was younger my dad commuted to Toronto for work in the morning and would always get home around 5:00 and that was when we were at the dinner table eating, I wouldn't eat until he got home because I wanted him to be there. I think everyone should have that experience. Things that make a house a home, well the furniture has a big part of it because that shapes the whole house and if you take that furniture out then you don’t even realize that your family was there. That is why every family is unique in their own way. The bedrooms make a difference too because you can tell whose bedroom it is by the way they decorate it. Also your bedroom is yours to decorate! Everyone should have a home because the people that don’t have a home work really hard to provide for their children so that's why I think habitat for humanity is a really good cause. Those people on the streets are still people too. Kudos to you habitat for humanity, you're doing a very good thing.
