The Meaning of Home

What is a house, what is a home, and what is the difference? Homes and houses are very similar in so many ways, but also very different. For instance, they're both buildings, and people live in each, but what is a house to you, and what is a home? That is exactly what I will be talking about! What makes a house a home is that one is a building and home to someone else, but a home is where you live, and it’s very important to you. An example is when you have a sleepover, and you lie down to sleep, you feel like, This isn't my home. A home has that feeling of this is my home. That’s a feeling everyone should be able to feel. My home is special to me because of my family and Neville, my dog. To wrap it up, a house is important to who ever resides in it, in whatever ways they have. Houses have things that make it feel like home, like family. When I’m at my friends house, or my Grandparents, I don’t always feel like I can let my guard down like I can at home. I hope eventually, everyone can have a place they call home.
