What is a home?

A home to me is a safe, warm place. A warm place not in the meaning of a furnace or floorboard heating, but more in the meaning of love, and happiness. Also a place where your parents protect you and keep you safe. You might think a house and a home are the same thing but that is not true. A house is just four walls: a kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Now this is what a home is. Where joy is spread, love is shared, laughter is heard and memories are made plus maybe a little bit of fun then you will have a home. A home to me is where memories are made. Year by year we acquire more memories. Some that pop out for everyone would be if you got a new sibling, moving houses, schools or even maybe countries/state one every children have experienced first hand is online schools also the pandemic covid-19. Although I haven’t lived through all of these amazing and life changing experiences I have some like moving homes, and just this year moving schools no matter what race, gender, or age. Now, that's what a home is to me. What does a home mean to you?
