What does home mean to me

Home is a place where you can come back to after a long day at work or school. You can go into the living room and sit on your cozy couch while watching a show with your loved ones. You can go into the Kitchen and make a delicious turkey for your family or go to your bedroom and take a nice long nap on your comfy bed. Home is a place where you make new memories, it’s a place where you can just relax. As much as it hurts my tongue just talking about it and my hand just writing about some people don’t have a home. They don’t have the chance to sit on a couch with their loved ones . They don’t have a chance to walk into their kitchen and cook a nice meal for their families. But just by writing this essay I hope I am helping a family get a home, A place for them to make new memories and forget about their past. A home is a place where you can just be yourself, it’s a place where you can just relax. It’s a place where you make new memories and remember the family members before you. Your home should be a place that reflects on yourself, a place where you have grown and made memories with your loved ones. I am so grateful that I have a place I can rely on, come home from school and just relax with my dad, sister and cats. Fire in the Fireplace, Mirror on the wall, Table one the ground I am grateful for it all.
