Home is Where the Soul Lives

Home is Where the Soul Lives Home is everything to me. Safety, love, protection and family. Home is not only four walls and a roof over my head, it’s also where my heart lives and important memories are made. Memories that bring a smile to my face. For example when I look at the big hole in the siding of my shed, it reminds me of the time my sister and I were having so much fun sledding down the hill which my Grandma built on the stairs and smashed the siding in the process. Home is where I come from school and can smell my grandmother’s cooking in the kitchen, hear her gentle voice and feel her warm embrace. Home is where I am comforted by warm hugs from my mother and my father. Home is where me and my sister fight, race through the hallways, play, laugh and show our love for eachother. Home is where I will cry from a broken heart at some point in the future but get through it with the help of my family and the strength of their love. Home is where I confide with my sister and my mother about my first love and they will be happy for me. Home is where I will grow up and see my parents age. Home is where I will learn to become a man who will make his parents proud for his actions. Home is where I will build new memories and cherish the past ones. Home is where my soul belongs. My home is a part of me and I am a part of my home.
