What a home means to me

To me a home isn’t four walls and a roof. It isn’t new games or fun and useful things in that building. To me a home is the people inside of it. The people you love that are always beside you. It's the parents you love. Even the siblings that can seem annoying and loud. You still love them. Even if it's deep in your heart you know you love them. And they love you and you will never forget that feeling. the feeling of being loved. A home is the fun times with those people. It’s the memories you make with your family and friends. When the people before us built their teepees, when they would move the family wasn’t upset. It’s not the house that makes the family it’s the family that makes the house. A home is the safety you feel with those people. Yes, a house, food, water, toys, they are all wonderful things but that’s it they are just things. A home isn’t and doesn’t need to be materialistic because a home is the people you love and the family you love and even the annoying little sibling. In closing a home is the friends and family not the house.
