A Home, Your Home
Your home is where your heart is,
That’s what they all say,
Home is a place for everyone
To work, have fun, and play.
A house is uninhabited,
Empty on the inside.
A home is where a family lives,
Fun on the inside and the outside.
A home is sad when you leave,
Especially on vacation.
Your home wants you to settle down
And have a nice staycation.
You grow up in your home,
Morning, noon, or night.
And when you let go of the past,
Your home grabs it and holds it tight.
Don’t get me wrong,
A house can care,
But the care that a home can give
Why, nothing can compare.
Remember your home loves you,
Always love it back.
You will never fight your home,
Forgiveness it does not lack.
Your home doesn’t care
If you’re the best,
All it wants is to be for you,
Is a friend, and a good place to rest.
