What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me When I wake up in the morning I feel safe and loved by my parents and my home. As I walk through my home, I can always find something to do around the house to help my family. Everyday when I walk through the door to my home I feel so much love coming from my family and pets. Sometimes I have really bad days because my day at school was bad or my neighborhood friends were teasing me. But when I get back home there is always something that cheers me up. To me home everyday is a place of peace, harmony and love. I am so grateful for all the things that I have in my home like toys, books, TV and a warm bed. When it is cold outside I can turn up the thermostat. There are lots of things that I love In my home like a bed, bathroom, living room, and a kitchen. I love these things because they are basic needs and I am so lucky to have them. So many families do not have these things and that makes me feel sad. I also like that my parents are able to buy things we need like food, water and pills using their money that they make from their jobs. Without a home I would not be able to have so many wonderful things. When my family first moved into our house, it immediately felt like home for me and my family and it still does. I can always count on my home to keep me warm and cozy. I am very lucky to have my home and all of the things in it.
