What Home Means To Me. Home means a place where I feel safe with the comfort of my family where I can trust to be loved. In my bedroom, I have my place of solitude where I can feel peace. Within our walls, I see memories we have created throughout the years. Memories of joy and happiness like birthdays, opening presents on Christmas morning and staying up late on New Years Eve. Home also means a place, where we eat home cooked meals and freshly made desserts that taste delicious. It is also a place where we meet with friends to share a dinner (before covid). In our basement, the smell of scented candles burning in my living room creates a perfect setting for a quiet night of family games. The night is sometimes interrupted by Cole, our family dog coming to play. Home means kindness of my family knowing I’m not alone in this world we live in. It is the sounds of chatter and laughter coming from our living room. Home means love, happiness and family.
