HOME When I think of the meaning of home, I think of so many things but here are some of the most important things. When I think of home I think of my family. Every day when I get home, I see my brother and we always try to do something together because my brother and sister go between homes so it's very special even when we just play video games together. Then I see my mom then my dad then sometimes my sister. Then about an hour later I smell the amazing food my parents make then right after dinner clean up my brother and I walk the dog he’s always super exited. My family is the most important thing in the whole world to me I don’t know what I would do without them, all the memories, laughs and smiles make it all worth it even though things can get crazy they are the roots to my tree because without them I wouldn’t be who I am today. Also, when I think of home, I think of safety because no matter what I know my family will keep me safe. For example, right after the spring on may 8th my brother and I decided to jump into the freezing cold water and when I jumped in, I lost my breath and it was almost like I forgot to swim which was weird because I’ve been swimming my whole life but before we jumped, I was really nervous but my brother said if anything happened, he said he would keep me safe so when I lost my breath and kind of forgot to swim my brother picked me up and held me up to the latter then I was fine and I helped my brother but the point is that my family would do anything to keep me safe even if they needed help too they would put me first. One other thing I think of when I think of home is comfort. When I say comfort, I don’t just mean a couch or a nice warm blanket I'm talking about how when I've had a bad day there's always someone to comfort me whether it's my dad. My brother or someone else like my mom or sister. I know that I can go to one of them for comfort I could even go to my dog for comfort even though he can't talk but still I know that I can go to anyone in my home that’s what's most important it doesn't matter who it is or where in my home it is, I can always count on the comfort in my home. There for these are just some of the many things that come to mind when I think of the meaning of home, I could think of so many other things, but these are the most important things when I think of home.
