The Meaning of Home
Home! Home is a place I feel safe.
Home is a place I grow.
Home is a place where I sleep.
Home is a place I eat.
Home is a place I feel comfortable.
Home is a place I can drink clean water to stop my thirst
But my home and family always come first. I sit there waiting for a sign, that I can cross the street so everything will be alright, I go home and plop my bag on the floor from all the school work i get right when i enter those fine doors and sparkling clean nice floors, I go home and sit on the couch then wonder how it would be like to sleep on those uncomfortable grounds.
I feel so lucky I have a home filled with my family and lots of dolls
With a bunch of rooms and a bunch of halls. As I wander around the hallways hoping everything will be alright,I see the people on the streets and can't imagine myself without a home.
I quietly wish I could have my own room,
then think of all those who don't even have a roof.
I sit there and wonder what it would be like without a home
wishing I could help them.
I am lucky to have a bed but others just have a ground,
to have my choice and freedom of speech when others can't make a sound
If I had no home and no where to go.
I would be so grateful that someone gave me a home.
It may not seem like a lot to you, but to me it seems huge without a home it would be nothing but a roof.
I would feel so special someone gave me a home and forever be grateful and never forget.
I would be forever grateful.
You know what they say “There's no place like Home”! I really mean it, it really did change my life and now I can change many more and they will truly feel special as I did and change their lives with a roof and four walls. I will forever be grateful and maybe they will too. You never know what kind things you do until all the kind things of the world all come back to you.
