What Home Means to Me

What does home mean to you? If I were to answer this question, I would say that home means where my family is, where I grew up, and where I can experience my culture. My home is where my family stays, because they love me and care about me. My home is not just a little house made out of wood and bricks, it’s the place of warmth and kind to me! Home is the only place that love occurs, I love you and you love me. That’s why the place home is called home. Another of my definitions of home is where I face challenges and overcome them. Here is a precious memory of mine: Once when I was just a little boy, I found a really hard work problem, and I could not figure it out. I tried and tried but I just couldn’t figure it out. When I was about to cry, my mom came. She explained it clearly and helped me a lot. I easily finished it. There’s many other memories of my family helping me overcome a challenge, and that makes home even more important. Home is where I experience my culture. Where I can speak my own language, eat the foods that belong to my country, and celebrate festivals that my country celebrates. I feel comfortable partaking in my culture. Home is a very important part of my life.It is where my home is, where my culture is, where my loved ones are, and where love occurs
