What My House Means To Me
Feeling cozy, comfy and soft is what I love about my home. My cozy bed with teal sheets and fluffy big pillows. The feel of lying on a cloud. I get butterflies just thinking about it. My stuffies are waiting for me to cuddle them.
My phone is comforting because I can talk to my friends and play games on it. I have a Google pixel and I love it. I love it because it's something I can do while relaxing. I can listen to music while I am on my beautiful cozy bed, snuggled up with my bear stuffie. I can also use my phone to contact my friends when I am lonely. That brings me lots of comfort.
Imagine not having a stove. I love to bake and cook yummy treats for my family. Sometimes I even cook and bake for my grandparents. I feel like it shows my appreciation for them.
I don't know what I would do without my mom's car or my dad's truck. I like my dad's truck because it brings excitement to my family. When we get in dad's truck it means we are going somewhere fancy or we are going camping.
My cat Ozzie always comforts me when I am sad. He is always purring. He's warm and cozy with soft silky fur. He has two cat houses outside. One of them is really old, but they both have heating pads in them to keep Ozzie warm.
If I had to restart everything because I lost everything, I would want my bed, phone, car, truck, stuffies, and a stove because these things make me happy and feel at home. There are a lot of families that need a home and I don't know what it's like to not have a phone or a bed. So I am glad that I may be able to help people who don't have a safe, comfy, and cozy place to sleep or to relax. Now I realize how lucky I am to have a nice home. I want other people to know how it feels. That's why I'm contributing to the writing contest for Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity makes homes for everyone.
