Home is More

Home is more than just a safe place to sleep, though i am grateful for that, home is so much more you see. Home is a place, to be myself, Be by-myself, to treat myself. With happiness filling up my soul, that comes only from the loving warmth of my home. From my basement dark as night, to my attic ceiling full of light, my home is where I start and end each day, my home is full of love, in every way. Even if my family and I get on eachothers nerves, we always try to remember to put compassion in our words. I have had such great memories in my home, such as movie night with my sister spoiling the plot, and my mom and dad bringing me in close. I live in an old house narrow and long, but that's not what home is about, at all. A home is a place where you feel warm and cosy, somewhere you know that you will never be lonely. Whether you live with someone or not. Home is a place where you never feel forgotten. Once you have walls and a roof over your head, you can turn your house into a home instead. A place where happiness filles up your heart like water in an ocean. See a home is a place to feel loved and cherished, a place where no one can be hurt or embarrassed. We must stick together, as a community. So that everyone can have the opportunity, to have a home. A place to be yourself, be by-your sefl, to treat yourself. We must all feel the happiness in our souls, we all need a home. A place to start and end each day, knowing that everything will be okay. I think about this everyday. That is what home means to me.
