Have you ever been homesick? I have! Home means I can be loved, be safe, and be yourself. A home is a place to be happy. For example, home is a place to eat. You can eat with family or friends. You can eat anything you want. I can eat my mom’s spaghetti bake because it’s my favorite and it’s delicious. It’s a place to be healthy and happy. I can eat healthy and none healthy but I eat what my mom makes me. Home is a place to be safe. For example, I have a code and a lock on my front door. I have locks on my windows. I have a fire alarm that randomly goes off. I have a lot of stuff to keep me safe. We have a piece of clear paper so no one can see in. When someone comes in you can hear them because we have a really old door. Home is a place to be yourself. For example, you can draw. another example is you can read or listen to music. You can make food with your family. A home is a fun place. You can hang out with friends. You can watch tv or watch youtube. Home is where you can learn. You can study for a test or a presentation. You can do zoom classes for a sport. You can prepare for an event. You can be ready for anything. Home is where you need to be! You can be happy, loved, and healthy.
