Home To Me There is only one place like it on Earth A place where I've lived since the day of my birth A place where I've made memories with friends and family A place where I know I'm meant to be. The word to describe this place is none other than “home” What some don't understand about this one little word When you open your front door, you enter a new world A world where you can be you and I can be me That, dear reader, is home to me. Some people don't have one, and have to live on the streets And the wealthy can't find it in their hearts to meet their needs Some don't know what it's like to live in a home They don't even have a place they can call their own But I'm grateful I have somewhere I can be free That, dear reader, is home to me.
