Home
Home
Home is where I feel safe
Home is a comfortable place.
My home has always given me shelter
It always makes me feel better.
With a roof over my head
Where I rest on the bed
Tiles where my feet lay.
Around the house to play.
The pillars stay tall
Even when you sit small.
I will always feel for the homeless
But I know it's not hopeless.
Most people sit thinking "I want more"
But don't realise they’re actually not poor.
Some don't understand what it would be like in others shoes
Because it’s not like the homeless can choose.
When the down and out get homes it fills me with love
It must feel like a gift from above
Their cheerful hearts boom
Their happy tears fill up all the rooms
