Meaning of Home

The Importance of Home You all know what they say, “home is a place of love,” and all of that. Do you know what I think? It’s more than love, it’s a place of joy and comfort. We get to play hide and seek, and we have good neighbors. If my family didn’t have a home, we would build one ourselves. I like to wake to the sound of my grandma, and I like walking downstairs to eat breakfast. I know where everything is in my house. I have my routines, and I do them in the comfort of my own home. That’s the importance of having a home. It’s a place that’s familiar, and a place to start my day, and a place to go back to. If people did not have a home, I think it would be cold, unsafe, not protected and sad. If I had money and I wanted to do something with it, I would give the money to the poor so they could work together to find a way to get a house for their family. It would be nice if everyone could have a nice home like I do, where it’s warm and comfortable and they could love their family and pets. By Joellene.
