A Memorable Place

My home is a thoughtful place, That keeps me cozy with a warm space. Where bonds begin, And life starts, Food and shelter is what I want. It's messy and fun, And full of love. Even though we all shove, Everyone fits like a glove. When mother spreads humor throughout the house, Everyone gets peaceful like a mouse. Then I bust out laughing, And so do the others, Knowing that we’re cozy, because of the weather. Memories begin, When we’re comfortable. And with hot cocoa, We take everyone’s photos. There’s someone always there, When you feel scared, or blue. A home is a thoughtful place, Where you find something in you. My home is comfortable, warm, and cozy, And when my father is near, I start joking around, He never has a tear. I will never feel bored, Because my home has various choices. It will always be familiar, With lots of beautiful voices. I know I’ll always be safe, Because my home is locked up tight, Nothing will be done wrong, Because a home is always just right. My home will always be a thoughtful place No matter where I’ll be.
