A Home is More Than a House

Picture this, you are in a huge castle with all the gold and diamonds you could ever need. A castle that is big, clean and oddly perfect. But it may not suit you. Then you walk straight into a cozy little house. It is filled with furniture and has a soft carpeted flooring. That is your house. You live there, in the tiny 2 room house. However, you’d prefer the castle anyday, right? Well. If you were to live in that cold maze like castle, I don’t think you’d enjoy it. Sorry, but the stay may not be what you thought about. A home is only a home after you have been in it and have made unique memories and experienced happiness from it. Filled with wishes and things you love. You can buy a house, but not a home. Like how you can buy a dog, but it won’t have any true bond with you. Only after saying you’ve made connection with your house, may you call it a home. A home is different from a house. A house is not at all like a home. And it’s simply because a house is made from walls and halls, a home is made from love and care. A home is more than a house.
