What Makes a House a Home
A house may look like a box with a pointy roof, but there is so much more. What makes my house a home is the shelter, the love, and the family time.
But in 2020 Covid-19 came in we had to isolate, quarantine, and stay in our homes and my house probably got the most love. If I were a house, I would be happy with all of the love. My favorite place to stay in my house is my bedroom where I could play with my toys and do homework. Home is my favorite place to be, but I am also happy as long as I’m with my family.
Back in 2018-2019 my family and I moved out of our old house but I didn’t want to leave because it was the house I grew up. Once we got settled in our new house, the sadness left me, because I realized that my family was the key to making our new house a home.
When I’m writing this I’m thinking not everyone has a home and when I look outside in the winter time I see snow and freezing winds and I’m kind of chilly with my winter jacket on and I’m thinking about all of the homeless people who are freezing and sad and it’s not fair to the homeless people and everybody deserves a home and I am grateful for the home I have.
