What Makes a House a Home

My house is a home that feels warm, cozy and safe. Everyday when I look at my house, I am reminded of how much I have to be grateful for.  The foundation of my home is surrounded by people that love me for who I am. They encourage me to become a person that I am proud of. The walls are my sisters, they hold me up when I feel down. The roof is filled with laughter, love, hugs, forgiveness and dreams.  Laughter, is the ones you live with and laugh with.  Love, is how my family shows me that I am apart of something magical. This is how I know that I will be loved unconditionally. Hugs, are for when you feel sad or happy. Hugs  matter, they help your sole feel safe like nothing can hurt you in any way. Hugs, also bring happiness when you want to express your excitement. Forgiveness, is when we make a mistake. In our home we learn from our mistakes and understand that we all make mistakes.  We make sure to learn and reflect from our experiences. I know when I chase my dreams, the road will always lead me back home.  My home gives me shelter and keeps me stable.  My house is my home and I love to think of all the fun I have and had.
