Habitat and Humanity
When I open the door, I feel grateful that I get to have a nice home. The meaning of home means warmth. Without a home, I will be really cold. Home means shelter, my home keeps me away from the freezing rain and lightning. I feel safe in my home because my home is protecting me from the danger outside. It is fun in my home because my family and friends make me laugh all the time. I’m comfortable in my home, I get to relax on my bed and sleep on my comfy, warm, and soft bed. Home means spending time with my beautiful family. A home is a place where you build up beautiful memories. My home is filled with love, dreams, hope and wisdom.
Home means times of joy, times of pain and times of peace. My home is colourful, with pictures above the fireplace. Pictures of my older brother dressed in a bright green shirt with a bright red fire truck in his hand smiling. A baby picture of my older sister wrapped in a white blanket with her hair neatly brushed, and a picture of me standing upright with my gorgeous yellow sweater, with white pants. In the kitchen of my home, there are aromas of freshly baked cinnamon rolls, bacon, fried chicken, french fries, bread, and spaghetti and meatballs. A home is a place where I always want to be, and this is what home means to me!
