What Home Means to Me

Have you ever needed a place to be yourself? Home is where I can feel safe, bake and cook, and spend time with my family. My home is a place where you can feel secure. For example, my home makes me feel safe because my dad is there to protect us. Next at my house, we have gates that we can roll down over our windows on the main floor. Finally, at my home, my family has a home phone so when we are home alone me and my sisters can contact my parents. A home is a place where you can bake and cook delicious food. For example, at my house, we have a double oven so we can cook more things at once. Secondly, at my house, I have lots of cool baking tools for decorating my pastries. Finally, when I bake at home my mom is there to help me when I need help. A home is where you should spend your time with your family. For example at my house, my family watches T.V. together some nights. Next, my family will sometimes play board games after dinner. Lastly, my family will sometimes have extended family over dinner. This is why a home is a place that you can feel safe, where you can bake and cook, and a place where you can spend time with your family.
