The Meaning Of Home My home to me is where I feel safe and warm. It’s where my family is with me, and it’s where I was born. It's my cat, named Gracie, and her soft warm touch. It is with all the people I love so much. It is my cozy bed and my cool room. It’s where the light shines in my window from the stars and moon. It’s my big backyard where we sit on a summer’s night. It’s where I am sick and my mom holds me tight. It’s the food I eat that’s oh so yummy. They are my favourites and fill my tummy. It’s my skateboards, basketball net, and where I keep all my stuff that's cool. It’s where I learn and go to school. It’s my Mom and Dad who show me love. It’s a place with God from up above. When I go on vacation or a short little trip, It’s the place I really, really miss. If there’s one thing I know, it’s that my house is real, And what I call my home is what I feel. By Van
