What home means to me

My home is a place where my parents are looking after me and my little sister. They set boundaries, provide guidance, and do fun things with us. If I ever need any help with something I know that my mom and dad will be there for me. When I lay down to go to sleep at night I have both my cats snuggled up to me purring as I drift off to sleep. I like playing board games with my family, because we always have so much fun. My mom and dad work hard to provide us food, water, warm clothes, and so many other things. I love all of the wonderful memories I had made over the past years with me and my family. Playing games on friday nights, watching movies and eating popcorn, baking yummy treats, and spending all of the special events together such as Christmas, our birthdays, and Thanksgiving. When I'm at my home I like to wear warm clothes or even just warm pajamas. I feel safe to be myself around my family. I feel the safest when I'm in my home as I should be. I am surrounded by the people who protect me, and by the people who love me. If anything ever happens I know that my mom and dad will be there to protect us. I feel very loved in my home. My mom and dad are always there if I ever don't feel well, my mom makes me feel much better and gives me the reassurance that I'll be okay.
