Home

Yes! Hometime! Home is a place where I can relax, get away from my worries and take time off. Where my mom's daycare kids’ screaming, playing and laughter fills the house, also some fighting. I go to my room in the basement where I can sit on my bed and hopefully get some peace and quiet . The daycare kids get picked up and Mom makes some food. My mom and dad are divorced and sometimes it is hard having two houses but we make it work. One week I am at my dad's and the next I am at my mom's. This week I'm at my mom's house but next week I'll be at my dad's. It’s calmer there, and quieter which gives me a break from the chaos. I feel so lucky that my parents love me. My sister can be annoying - she teases me and bugs me but she still is awesome. She plays video games with me voluntarily (even though she thinks the games are stupid). I am so lucky to have two homes - places where I feel loved, cared for and where I can be myself.
