A Home To Belong To

Home. What does home feel like? It’s a place where feelings and emotions are shared. It's where family makes you feel like you're in the right place. It doesn’t matter if your home is small, big, or maybe even a box, but it's who fills it up to make it home. It’s easy to buy a house, but never easy to buy a home. It's for all the memories that are made that are special to you and your family. That's what makes home feel like a bite of fresh homemade banana bread. My mom cooks like a master chef, entering a contest winning first place with a delicious plate of pasta. When everybody comes together for dinner, we all feel happy together like one big puzzle. My Dad is the king of jokes when it comes to sad and happy times. He doesn’t like it when we’re sad or disappointed. He’s the mood booster. Laughter spreads to create happy memories with family. My siblings may get annoying sometimes, but I still love them even though they’re little trouble makers. Every fight that happens, gets forgiven. Every toy that breaks, gets repaired. Home is like a file that keeps all the memories saved, so they can be shared again, and again. Home is where the heart is.
