The Meaning of Home

A house is a place that keeps you warm in the cold and protects you from bad weather. It is a place where you sleep, eat, and live. But to make a house into a home, you need to make memories. Lots of homes have families who they can laugh, play, fight and make-up with. Even if you live alone your home can be a place for friends and family. A home is much more special than just a house because it has love. Without love, it would just be a building. My home is important to me because my family is there to care for me. My family makes my home special by watching movies, baking, playing board games and eating meals together. My family and I have been spending a lot more time together since the pandemic started. When there were no more activities, we had more time for each other. For example, we are now able to have family dinners. Even though the pandemic has not been good for lots of people, it has brought my family closer together. The pandemic helped my family make our house a better home.
