My Home Isn't Just a Place

I look into my family's eyes and realize that my home isn’t just a place, it’s inside of me. Sure, part of it’s a place, but the rest of it is inside. My home is somewhere that I feel safe, content and many other things. It’s a place that I can laugh, a place that I can cry. My home has memories. My mother’s soft voice wrapping me up in the cold wind and snow, the laughs that my brother and I had and me and my dad doing projects together. A home is somewhere you can be even if you don’t have any family. I hope that the people without a home get one soon. Everyone should have a home, it could be a tent, a trailer, or anything that makes it a home for you! If you wanted it could even be a giant dome as long as it’s comfortable for you. That is why I think that my home isn’t just a place, it's inside of me.
