Meaning of Home

Home is where I am with people who love me, help me with things, look after me and keep me safe. I am very lucky because I have two awesome homes. I live with my parents. I have my own bedroom, an outside fort and a trampoline. My parents and I like to sit by a fire outside and roast marshmallows. We also like to have a fire in the fireplace in the living room. I go with my parents to buy wood and when we get home I help unload the wood and bring it inside. I also like to help rake leaves and shovel snow. My other home is across the street with my Nanny and Papa. My parents work so ever since I was a baby I go to their house for the whole day. When I am there I get to play with the dogs, Marty and Bailey. I help look after them, walk them, feed them, train them and I even clean up their mess! My Grandpa and I spend a lot of time downstairs in the workshop building things. We have lots of tools and cardboard, tape and recyclable things. Grandpa helps me and then I help Grandpa shovel snow, rake leaves, pickup branches, cut down trees and take things to the dump. My Nanny helps with my schoolwork and reads me stories and I help my Nanny fold the laundry, clear the table and help make dinner. We all help each other and are kind to one another and that makes my homes very happy places to be.
