What Home Means To Me
What does home mean to me? That’s a very good question that can have so many different answers for so many different people. First of all, let’s talk about how there is a big difference between a home and a house. A house is a place where you can eat, sleep, shower, and stay warm in, but isn’t that also everything I can do in my home? The answer is yes, but there is still a big difference. My home is where I learned to crawl, walk, talk, eat, read, count, and how to be kind to one another. When I am in my home, I feel loved and safe with my family. If you really think about it, you can have more than one home. For example, Canada is my home even though it is my friends’ home, my grandparents' home, and so many other people’s home too! I know which way my school is, I know the two dogs that live in the end of the street, and even though right now I can't go to school, or pet the two dogs that live in the last house on my street, I still consider people in Canada as my family. So, what does home mean to me? Home to me is a perfect happy and safe feeling you get when you're in just the right place, with the people that you love.
