What home means to me
Home is the heart the building block, the center
The center of us and what is around
The trees, the stream and the deer in the forest
The vibration of our house makes me feel squishy, warm and cozy (even when it's cold)
When I'm inside, I feel safe and nothing can get me
When I'm in my house I feel fierce and confident
Like there's a force field around me, a bubble of light and energy
When I come home, I can hear my mom typing on her computer
I can smell my dad's cooking, and listen to my sister learning piano
I look at my cats purring at my legs
I love my home and nobody knows how grateful I am for it
Nobody has a house like mine
And everybody deserves a place they can call home.
