The Meaning Of Home

Today I’m talking about the meaning of home. Home is where it’s safe and where I’m comfortable- It’s also where I hang around with my siblings. Home is also where I roam Home is where you have fun, And where there’s also laughter; It’s where you hang around and play and run all day in the sun. I think that we should think about people who don’t have a home, Because homeless people matter, Since they don’t have anywhere to go for shelter. So we should all try to help by writing a poem or essay. Homeless people must all be shivering. They probably don’t even have any blankets to sleep with at night, Or any pillows for their tired heads And if there’s wildlife around them, they’re probably quivering. Help them so they can feel loved and have a safe place to stay; Somewhere where they can be for shelter, And where they can enjoy themselves. But also where they will get to laugh and play. Do you all see now why it’s so important to write an essay or a poem? Because everyone deserves to have somewhere to live, And live there and feel safe. So that’s why we should all write so people can have a home.
