Why Home Means a Lot to Me

Home means a lot to me and I think everyone should have one. I'm very lucky to have a safe home. It is my habitat and if I didn’t have it, I don't know what I would do. A home is a place you can be you. I really love my home. I would not trade it for anything in the world. My home is in a safe neighborhood and I feel safe in my home. When we leave home, we lock the doors to keep safe. My home is warm even on the coldest days outside so I'm always cozy. Home is a place where I experience love. My parents love me and I love them. I also love my brother Noah and my dog Dudley. You spend many hours of your life at home. When you feel sad you go home to feel better. You do many things at home and it is much harder to do things without a home. I’m very grateful for all the things my home offers. I have lots of fun at home and other good feelings, like happiness, calmness, safety, peacefulness, and love. I have made lots of good memories at my home. I have lived at this home my entire life. A home provides me with important things like food, water, and a bed to sleep in. I like it when I can bring my friends to my home to play, especially when they get to sleep over. Home is a special place for anyone. I know that when I grow up I will have to get my own home, but I will always consider “my current home” to be my first home. Your home is special because it’s yours. Home is not just a structure but a feeling you get.
