Meaning of Home

My family makes me feel so glad, they are there for me when I am sad, My dog buddy gives me sloppy kisses, When I leave my house I know it is me he misses, My puppy annie is brand new, I know from her kisses that she loves me too, I love helping my mom bake, Cookies are my favorite thing to make, When I am sick she sings to me, There is no other place I would rather be, I love having my big brother Kai, He plays games with me and is such a great guy, He gives me a kiss on my forehead at night, Then closes the door and turns off the light, My Dad is safe and so very strong, He helps me even when I am wrong, My Dad gives me giant bear hugs, I love my Dad’s cuddly snugs, My family likes to be silly and joke around, Laughter in our house is a comforting sound, We care about each other a lot, I’m lucky for the family I’ve got, I am so thankful I don’t have to roam, I have all of the things I need in my loving home.
