HOME, A SPECIAL PLACE

Home is a word that we too often overlook That needs to change Home is not bricks, foundation, or walls Home is somewhere we feel welcome, safe, and free Home is not a house but a place where you are with your loved ones, where you feel happy, where you go to relax Home is a place of happiness and disagreement, accomplishments and mistakes Home is a place where you have made friends, memories, mistakes, triumphs, and new beginnings Home is a four letter word but has so many meanings Home is so different for everybody that you could be walking on somebody’s home and don’t even know it Home is a place you hold dear in your heart and will never forget Home is a place you can be yourself and not worry about anything Home is a place you feel comfortable in Home could be anywhere Home can mean anything Home may be in the same place for two people but that does not mean that home means the same thing Home is your childhood, your family, your adulthood Home is a special place I know I sound generic and not at all free But this is what home means to me
