Home is where me and my family live Our home has everything we need to be happy and safe My mom and dad cook our meals in the kitchen, where Everyone sits down to eat I spend my days at virtual school Sun comes in through the skylights We play games because we can’t go out anymore Happy in our house, where we stay Ever since the virus came we try to stay away from people Reading quietly in bed at night Everyone snug in their beds to sleep The rocks we painted are in our garden Having a late bedtime now is fun Everyone is looking forward to Christmas Home is where we connect with each other Every day we do a new craft And we’ve all learned how to bake yummy things to eat Realizing how lucky we are to have a home, and That we have to help people who don’t have what they need I can’t wait until summer so I can swim in our pool Stock up on toilet paper!
