A home is so much more than just a house

Living in a home is the same as living in a house because they are both a building with shelter and somewhere to sleep. They are different because a home is even more than just a house. Here are some examples: a home is somewhere where you feel welcome, safe, and loved. It is also somewhere that holds all sorts of memories such as riding a bike for the first time or walking for the first time. When you move from your home to another you might feel scared because it's a new place or you might have to change schools. You also might feel excited because you could have an in ground pool and at your old house you didn't have one. There are so many reasons why you might feel these emotions and that's ok. These are the rooms that make me feel most welcome, safe and loved. The room I feel most safe is my room because it’s where I can have some alone time and I won't be bothered, the room I feel most loved in is the family room because I'm usually in there with my family and there is a fireplace to keep me warm in the winter. The room that makes me feel like I don’t have to pretend who I am is the basement, because that’s where I play with my toys and hangout with my sister, the room I feel most welcome in is the front hall / front room, because that's where you enter my home and I feel very safe and welcome in my home and in that room too. These are the reasons why a home is so much more than just a house and the rooms in a home are so much more than just the rooms in a house. Thank you for reading my essay and have a great day.
