What home means to me

It's hard to think about how some people don't have a home. No place to stay, and nowhere to stay warm. I'm really fortunate to have a house that keeps me warm from the snow, the rain, the wind, the hail and knowing that I'm safe there just brings me joy. My house is really important to me. It's where I sleep, it's where I eat, it's where I spend most of my time. My house keeps me warm. It lets me cook good meals, but when you don't have a home how will you cook and how will you sleep knowing that you're in a safe place. In my house I live with my family and we play games and hang out together. When you have a home you can hang out with your family in a big space. It doesn't necessarily need to be big, it's what it protects you from. It's a place where I can express my feelings and a place that I trust and know that nothing will go wrong. I can be happy. Basically, my home means a lot to me and I hope that from this I get to give someone a house that can make them as happy as I am to have a house.
