Home

The definition of home is thought to be quite simple although with careful thought, it starts to waver. To me, home is a place where people feel they are most safe. Many refer to a house as a home as it is a basic necessity to have proper shelter and safety from the outside environments. Taking this into account, the definition of home is most likely the area of comfort and it only exists mentally from familiarity of the location. As the paragraph above regarded, most think of home as a house with it’s shelter from the outside environments and so the locations begin to feel more familiar. This is the true meaning of home and the transformation revolves around time. However, many do not have these basic necessities and so many feel abandoned without the experience and comfort of home. Any aid would be beneficial, even if the wealth provided would be quite small. Home and other locations providing proper shelter would aid people to improve and so some 300, 000 homeless people would be able to participate in society. The wealth used to aid them would be received from their work output. Habitat for Humanity has provided many resources these people would need such as shelter and other necessities including food. Rather than providing them the home, they would volunteer to build their own home and so this also allows them to improve their skills. With this direct aid and involvement as well as the initiative to provide resources needed would only improve society. It also strengthens bonds and creates connections between different individuals as volunteering allows different interaction between people. It would be an ambitious project although the benefits would be great. The meaning of home is very much important.
