Home

What does home mean to me? I trust home is more than just a shelter, walls and bricks. It’s a feeling. It’s a place I love and enjoy. It’s a place where I live. My home is full of warmth and happiness. I am grateful for my home and my family. Home is important to everyone. Home, sweet home! It’s a place that my family and I live in. Family is not only relationships and blood, but also trust. We regularly spent time together, and play in our backyard. We enjoy time when we watch TV and cook together. My friends always come and visit. We usually talk about animations and things we like. I also play with my neighbours. We play basketball and discuss our homework. I look at my dad gardening and listen to my mom playing the piano. I always feel warmth and comfort in this community. Home is where I live. When I leave my house, I can see the whole house. A house made of orange bricks and a yellowish roof. When I come back from school, I can feel the comfort inside the house. In my own room, I can see all kinds of cars driving on the main road. I feel quiet and calm. I will think about these homeless people and feel sorrowful for them. I’m so happy and thankful for where I live and think. What is home? It’s tenderness. Home is not only a “noun” or building. But it’s a family and trust. It’s a place you live and think. Where it provides you food, water and lots of other things. These are the meanings of home.
