The Feeling Of Home

A house is what I live in sure, But home is so much more. Its where I know I can be myself Home is a place where you are supported home is shelter for sadness and sorrow A house is shelter to prepare for tomorrow And when you are feeling sad There is love in the air to make you glad And even when you're away from home, gone. There is always a beat, a melody, a song. I like my house because it protects me I like my home because it makes me happy Home is more then happy, though It's a feeling that makes my heart glow Although you might think it's just a feeling It's a feeling that is gleaming Its where my best ideas form It's a place that will always keep me warm I wish everyone had a dog like mine To sit in your lap at home if you cry I wish everyone could be protected like me By walls a house, and family
